Nothing good for workers in Abe’s job reform Natsume on Labornet TV

“There is nothing good for workers in the Abe’s job reform!” said attorney  NATSUME Ichiro in an appearance on Labornet TV . “The deregulation of labor laws that the present Abe government is pursuing is only a rehash of  former prime-minister Koizumi's “labor big-bang.” Natsume also commented on the white-color exemption, the spread of indirect labor by the revision of dispatch labor law, and the proposed introduction of a dismissal system in which companies could easily fire workers by paying severance pay. “These changes would completely destroy the present employment system in Japan. There would be only 1% regular workers and 99% would become irregular.” One of the viewers commented on Twitter, ”I’ll be the first to be sacked, for I’m a union member!”

But there is still hope. The three confederations of labor have come together to oppose this job reform. According to Natsume, “The decisive battle will be in December. I want everyone to come to the Hibiya rally on December13^th.” (M)

「労働者にとって何一ついいことがない“安倍雇用改革”」。レイバーネットTVに出演した棗（なつめ）一郎弁護士は、吐き捨てるように語った。「いま安倍政権 が進めようとしている労働の規制緩和は、小泉がやろうとした“労働ビッグバン”の焼き直しだ」として、残業代を払わず24時間働かせる“ホワイトカラー・ エグゼンプション”、派遣法改悪による派遣労働・間接雇用の常態化、気に入らない人間を金銭で解雇できるシステムなどを、具体的に解説した。「それは日本の雇用システムを根本から破壊する。1％の正社員と99％の非正規の社会になるだろう」と厳しい表情で語った。視聴者からはツイッターで、「ユニオンやっているオレが一番に首じゃん」とのコメントもあった。だがまだ希望はある。この問題で3つの労働ナショナルセンターが一致して反対し、動き出したこと。 「12月は決戦になる。12.13日比谷集会にみんな集まってほしい」と棗さんは、呼びかけた。（M）
